Scott Lab Retreat 2024 was a great success, including hiking at Pinnacles National Park and meeting farm animals!

Bengisu receives the Outstanding GSI Award from UC Berkeley! The Outstanding GSI Award honors UC Berkeley GSIs each year for their outstanding work in teaching on the Berkeley campus. This award is given in recognition for Bengisu’s wonderful teaching, and her ability to maintain excellent in-person instruction during covid-19 restrictions. Congrats Bengisu!

Bengisu worked overtime to produce and star in instructional videos to support MSE 241 students during socially distant labs!

Kate receives the 2019 M&M Student Scholar Award for her submission to M&M this year for her paper “Machine Learning for High Throughput HRTEM Analysis”. This is a great achievement for a young microscopist- congratulations Kate!
